Adult Ministry Logo

Below is a description of the main ministries we currently offer adults at Indianola Community Church — “Intro” and “Groups.” Feel free to contact the leader listed for a particular ministry with any questions you have about that ministry! Additionally, you can find a PDF of our Ministry Catalog on our Resources page.
Whether you are new to the church and want to see what we’re all about, or you have been attending for awhile and are simply looking for ways to become more committed, we recommend you take our “Intro” membership classes. Over the span of three Sundays, you will have a chance to meet several pastors and elders of the church as they share about the “Foundation”, “Framework”, and “Membership” here at Indianola Community Church. Sign up for “Intro” here.

In the first “Intro” class, you will learn about what we believe about God, people, faith, baptism, communion, and more. Come find out who we are and where we believe God is taking us in this season of our church.

Every building is made up of a framework on top of a foundation. In this class, we’ll discuss the framework of how we engage in God’s work of restoration, what a follower of Jesus looks like, how to determine what your spiritual gifts are, and more.

At our church, we like to say that in membership, “you get us and we get you.” If you’ve taken Foundations and Framework and want to move forward in your commitment to this place, we encourage you to take this class.
We believe living in relationship with one another is vital to spiritual health and growth, so we encourage every adult in our faith family to be part of a group. Groups at ICC are small, regular gatherings that provide fellowship and accountability, and act as a launching pad for service and missional living. Take a look at the groups we offer below. Each type of group serves a different purpose, and depending on where you are in your life right now, one of these options will be a great fit for you. To sign up for a group, head over here.
Community Groups are created for adults committed to rejecting isolation and pursuing friendships. Community groups are available for men and women of all ages and stages of life, and typically involve a recommended commitment of one year at a time. Look below at our Community Groups offerings to see if one might be a good fit for you. Once you’ve signed up for one here, we’ll get in touch with you about next steps.
