MEN'S DISTRICT RETREAT

January 20-22, 2012 @ Hidden Acres Retreat Center (located near Boone, IA)

This year's theme is no Compromise.  There are no conscientious objectors in life.  You are either a fighter or you are a casualty.  Brooks Simpson, the special speaker for the weekend, understands what it means to fight.  He came to Christ at the University of Iowa where he became an NCAA finalist and Big Ten Champion wrestler under coach Dan Gable.  He has devoted his life to equipping others to stand firm in Christ while facing an unseen enemy where the stakes are not gold versus silver, but life versus death.  Brooks currently serves at Grace Community Church in North Liberty as the preaching pastor.

Cost: $90 (includes lodging for 2 night, meals, transportation & T-shirt)  Sign up deadline is January 8th.  There will be a drawing for 1 free ticket for everyone registered by December 18th.

What to Bring: Bible, gym shoes, swim trunks, toiletry items, bedding/sleeping bag, pillow, warm clothes for tobaggan run and outside activities.
