Thursday Evening Adult Ministry Classes

Most of our classes are held on Thursday evenings and focus on a specific topic and use God's word to help direct people to be in the center of His will. A variety of classes are offered to help people in areas such as finances, marriage, parenting, grief and divorce. Studies for women, men, and other Bible studies are offered at the same time.  Evenings begin with a potluck at 6:00. Childcare is available for infants and up.

 

Financial Peace University

This biblically based, video driven, small group study presented by Dave Ramsey teaches families to beat debt, build wealth and give like never before.  During this    life-changing class, you will learn how to:

Get Control of your Money

  • Follow the step-by-step process for getting out of debt and staying out of debt
  • Put together a monthly spending plan that really works
  • Set financial goals and communicate about money

Stop Stuggling to Make Ends Meet

  • Protect your family from life’s emergencies
  • Eliminate the stress that comes from financial problems
  • Save and invest for your future

Tell Your Money What to Do

  • Know what insurance to buy...and what to avoid
  • Get great deals on the things you buy
  • Buy or sell a home the right way
  • Plan for your retirement and make the right investment choices

Change Your Family's Future

  • Utilize a good money plan to strengthen your marriage
  • Unlock the power of giving to change your community

Classes will begin on Tuesday, February 14th and Thursday, February 16th and runs to Tuesday, May 15th and Thursday, May 17th.  Cost: $100 per family. 

 

Spiritual Parenting!

It's not behavior management... Whether we are single parents or part of a blended or traditional parenting family, the most significant part of our lives and our children's lives is spiritual health.  What you believe and where you aim your heart determines the direction and outcome of your entire life.  Eternity is at stake.  Our purpose as parents is to teach our children about the awe inspiring wonder of who God is, how to have a relationship with Him and what it looks like to live our lives for Him.  We hope this class will answer the question:  "Who does God require me to be as a parent, and how will I create environments in my home for Him to be at work in the unique children He has entrusted to me?"

This 6 week class will be offered Thursdays, April 4-May 10th at 6:40pm.  Class limit: 30
